Anyone up for it? (I confess, I've already started it and wanted to share the mohair love/pain).

I find it easy to motivate myself for this sort of lace knitting- once you see the motifs coming out, it's very satisfying. Plus it grows quickly compared to the 4-ply vintage-ey stuff I usually knit. I've substituted Sirdar Blur for the yarn (sort of a pale sea-green- not sparkly but that suits me fine) and I managed to finish the back and start one of the front ties on my first ball. I am impressed.

This is the first time I've knitted with mohair, and it's making me very tolerant of my mistakes (as in, "that motif's out of place, but mohair's such a pain to unpick, the mistake's not such a big deal")... Wink
