so i'm working on this bag: http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/lucca/lucca.html

and i've already completed the front and the back.

so now i'm on the flap.

and i get the first part (follow chart 1 until 14 rows) because that chart has 14 rows.

then i get to the second part.  "follow chart 2 until 25 rows have been completed."

except that chart 2 is made up of 54 rows.

and when i look at the picture i can't see anything that goes past row 25.

and i'm horribly horribly confused.

my only thought is that the flap is double sided?  i don't know.  that makes no sense because they don't talk anywhere about those remaining 29 rows n the pattern.

i've written berroco's webmaster because they have nowhere on their page about how to ask for pattern corrections.

meanwhile i turn to you craftsters... help!!

are there other pictures with the pattern?  from this pic it looks like the pattern goes beyond the front bit, so the back bit might just be a repeat of the pattern, so maybe when you finish what they mention, you repeat part of it to finish the repeating pattern?

yea i am so just guessing.

My guess would be that the chart was originally from something else, like a sweater, then they decided to adapt it to a bag.

you know, i thought that, but the back is made exactly the same as the front, so the back would already be complete.

hmm... that's interesting... you may be totally right. Smiley
