I have seen a number of eyeball pincushions, felted eyeballs and whatnot out there in the craftosphere and I have an awful lot of Moda Dea Crush coloured sock yarn to use up so I combined those two things and came up with this:

The eyes are crocheted using bits of doller store acrylic and the i-cord is knitted with the Moda Dea sock yarn.  If I didn't intend for a pet to actually play with this, than I would have embroidered some red veins onto the eyes but I was concerned about them being chewed off and left the eyes 'fresh and clear' as it were.

Dangerously clever and resourceful.

that's great!  cats seem to like those dangly kinds of toys best and the fact that it's eyeballs... it just makes my day.  Thank you.
