I got really into origami about a year ago, and even though now I don't do it as much, I still like it a lot. I've seen one of these flower balls on here before, but I found the pattern on the internet and made one out of magazine pics(my favorite paper source). It was my first BIG origami project and I'm pretty happy about that. My favorite flower is the one with the eyes Smileyhttp://puupuu.ojaru.jp/zu/densyo/densyo1.html The pattern is really easy. I used 6 inch squares for my flowers.

This is so cool! Yours is beautiful. This is the first one I've seen on craftster so far. I bought one of these from a japanese festival, and I've wanted to make one really badly. Great job! Could you please share where you got the pattern?  Grin

Makes me wish I could understand how to do origami.  I have tried but unfortunately the skill is not there.
