Blanket made for my mum. There is blood, sweat and tears in this.. i hate threading in ends!!! Taken with a flash, so appears alittle darker than it actually is.

I really like these types of blankets which look so 'quilty' - this is a very nice layout and color choices

I love it! The patterns you used mesh very nicely together.

(And I totally hear you on hating threading in ends. It's kicking me in the butt right now though because I'm having to rethread a blanket from a few years ago that I skimped on).

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

That's very pretty, I love the colors.  I keep seeing all these afghans made with different size granny squares, all of them look so nice, I'm going to have to try it.  Good work!

Have you tried working in your ends while you crochet the squares or when you are putting them together?  Saves me a ton of time.
