Hey there, I really am so impressed the embroidery I have seen on this site!  I never much gave it a thought, until I saw the cool skulls, tattoo inspired, day of the dead, pin up stuff that makes me want to jump in and start my needle flying everywhere!  So for the owly swap on here, I decided to give her a go:

Wow, first time embroidering is really great! You did a nice job, I love the little moon. Did you design the owl free hand or get the image somewhere else?

I absolutely looove the hat you made for the swap, it's so cute!

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

Love your owls! Did you paint the boxes as well? They are beautiful too!

Wow, what a first time. I love your owl. It is too precious and looks great on the bag. Did you sew the bag too? I wish I was getting all that great stuff.

Yeah I did sew the bag, yes I did it free hand, but I didn't draw it on the bag at all, I got an idea of what I wanted in my head, sketched it on my pad, which was actually the size of a dime on my paper...lol.  I drew the owl on the other side with the moon above it but changed it when actually doing the embroidery.  Yes I did paint the boxes too.

I am open to personal swaps...lol!!  Thanks guys.>. I am trying to find a good dragon design for a swap I am doing, but so far no luck, and I can't find my tribal dragon tat design I made, or I would use that...

Oh WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Shocked I love ALL of it! The embroidery is SUPERB (I love the way you rendered the moon), and the bag, ALL of it! But my favorite is the HAT. If I saw that in a store, I would throw an absolute fit on the floor until I could have it. HA!

Great job!
