Fanfare please!  Here are the wonderful things I received from SugarCouture.  This was her first swap and I'd say she's off to an excellent start Grin

First is a pic of everything.

Apron, hanging towel, trivet (all out of amazing retro fabric that matches my kitchen perfectly)

Comic coasters - so funny, because the top one says "I like to be kissed by Jimmy, but I don't like him to think he can kiss me whenever he wants to! - and my hubby's name is Jim!  They are all people kissing, with text like romance novels.  I've never seen a comic like this - they are way funny.  I have to say, I may not use these as coasters, they are too cute - I may have to think of some other crafty way to show them off better than covering them with glasses

Marble magnets (also cute comic images), cutie patootie pink felt beads and charm type necklace with cute comic photos on both sides (the other side is a "bubble" kind of glass).  It looks like maybe it was once a necklace watch??  Anyway it's very cute and clever, and maybe my favorite thing in the package - although it was hard to pick!

And finally, Elvis stencilled bag (Elvis, David Bowie and I share the same birthday -and yet I can't sing Cry ) I love the image she stencilled.  It came out great.  You know how you stop at the grocery store for a few things on your way home and always wish you had remembered to put a cloth bag in your car before you left in the morning?  (or is that just me?)  Anyway, I think I am going to leave this in my car for just that purpose (my car is a red convertible, don't you think this bag is the perfect match?

Pics 2 and 3 are action shots to see how perfectly the fabric matches my kitchen table and stove!  (Stove color is a little washed out in photo.)

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

for the coasters, maybe you could put them under glass or plexiglas on a table.

or turn into LARGE pins or pendants.

or attach magnets for fridge or magnetic wall or cabinet..  you can paint magnetic paint, then paint over with regular paint, and it makes a magnetic area.

sajona - all the things you received are wonderful.  I love the peg bag.

wiseowl  - I am so glad you liked everything.  I am parcial to cherry print too.  I wish I had boughten more of it.  I am glad you liked the aplets & cotlets.  I love those things and they screamed 50's so I had to buy them.

Thank you everyone for your compliments.  I loved the elephant I had thought of making it pink but decided a pink elephant would probably not ba appropriate for a baby onesie.  hehe.

KarenLouiseM - wow you received some wonderful things.  I am so jealous of your stove.  I love the pink.

I received from wiseowl on Friday but had friends come and stay with us so sorry about not posting sooner.
I was so spoiled.  I received earrings, necklace, yellow scarflette (which I have worn all weekend and it happened to be the same color of my shirt when I was ripping open the package) and a wonderful crochet felted purse (that also has been used all weekend)  Thank you so much I love everything.

She did a wonderful job on this and it is so soft and wonderful.

After some silly camera battery issues, I'm finally getting to post my awesome goodies from KarenLoiuseM!!

This was my first swap, and she helped to make it incredible!

Here is a group shot!

She made me a gorgeous recipe box (the top is made from an LP!) with awesome dividers, blank recipe cards and some very interesting recipes, lol.  There was also a recipe book for casseroles, it has family favorites like Clam Batter Pudding with Salt-Pork Gravy and Kidney, Heart, and Liver in Soubise Sauce, yum! LOL.  There are some really appealing recipes too through!  Raspberry Souffle and Brownie Casserole are on my list of things to make!

Three great necklaces and a magnet - we share political views Wink

I wore the mermaid necklace yesterday with TONS of compliments Cheesy

Magetic dress-up dolls in their own little case - I LOVE these!

She made me an adorable little apron made from a vintage embroidered pillowcase!

A cool LP sleeve purse and beautiful tunnel of love case.

She also sent some crazy cool stickers and Elvis fabric that just so happens to match my bedding!  I see pillows in my near future!

I feel so spoiled!  This was my first swap and was totally awesome!  Some of Karen's pics came out much better than mine, thanks for posting them for me to use!

Great Swap!  Yay!
