I love Weaving Works but am looking for additional sources of fibre here.  Any ideas?  Also any recomendations for a great yarn shop?  Has anyone been to the Fiber Gallery on Greenwood ( or is it Phiney?)

Thanks,

Tarewyn

The Fiber Gallery is my absolute favorite yarn store ever.  Their website is http://fibergallery.com/.  They have the staples, along with some unique sustainable fibers (the bamboo is so soft, if only it wasn't so expensive *shakes fist*).  I highly recommend you check it out.

Where exactly are you?  I live in Bellevue, so I use Hilltop Yarn the most, and they have another location in Queen Anne.  There's also So Much Yarn in Belltown, which I have yet to visit but have peeped through the windows a bit.

If it lives in the water or flies in the air, I'm in love with it. In New Zealand I saw a flying fish and almost wet myself.

I like so much yarn in belltown. they have pretty good prices for their location. Also there is a fabric store in northgate that has a wide variety of yarns..i think its pacific northwest fabric kinda by target.  Roll Eyes I also love hilltop yarn..

I like Fiber Gallery on Greenwood.  jw, do you know for sure that this fabric store you speak of in Northgate still exists?  I can't remember ever seeing it.

Thanks for your replys, sorry, I have neglected this thread something awful!  but yes, there is still a fabric store near Northgate, it's Pacific Fabric there yarn selection is small but ok, they have tons of quilting fabrics and a specialty section called the Galleria with wedding/formal type fabrics.
