all you have to do is get a cheap fork you can bend and wrap it around your wrist!

good deal.. i tried this but it didnt work so well.. also, id like to bend the prongs around some sort of jewel or something like those overpriced bracelets u see at artsy festivals and stuff..
any idea what sort of tools to use besides needle nose pliers??

When I was in Junior High, my boyfriend took a fork from the cafeteria and made an art piece out of it with the prongs bent around eachother individually spiraled and the back twisted on top of itself.  I'm not exactly sure how he made it, but I know he used the metal shop's tourch and pliers.  I think a food tourch or similar could be used to heat the metal enough to twist the prongs before the bead is placed, then pliers could be used to pinch the prong to keep the bead in place while the metal is still very plyable.

Probably the cheaper the fork is, the easier it is to bend. I used to have some cheap spoons that needed to be bent back into shape almost every time you used them.

I don't know about cheap forks being easy to bend. I just bought the hardest fork every at my local dollartree.  Hum. I need to get a torch!!! (My Mom will be SO excited!! **Devilish grin*)
