Just finished the Vogue Ribbed Minidress from VK Spring/Summer 2007 by Mari Lynn Patrick. The pattern was easy to follow and well written; and I don't remember coming across any mistakes.

I used Rowanspun 4 ply in colour Squirrel, doubled for the knit and while I got my stitch gauge, my row gauge was completely off meaning I had to recalculate everything.

Needles used were US size 5 Denises, and Addi 3.25mm.

Oh.. and I do love the buttons! Makes me feel as if I come from some heroic family teehee!

Lovely!  It fits you so perfecty - very impressive.  Love it.

These are the kinds of posts that make me wish I could bend time and find enough free time to learn to knit!

It's not that I don't want to swap, it's that I often don't have time.  But feel free to ask (especially if it's one that's not too time consuming).

I too am totally upset that they are taking the servers down to fix things. Why can't they just let things stay broken? I don't care if I can't move due to lag or if quests are bugged. If I leave my room my mom may make me get a job.

That dress is very cute. You have talent! How long did it take you to knit that? I adore the buttons. I agree with eyeshadowninja. I could see that in a SAKS or Macy's!

Apologies for the late reply - I work offshore so my internet use is intermittent.. but the yarn was fairly cheap as it is discontinued. I bought 20 skeins but used a little more than that (don't know the exact amount because I got knots here and there and just threw away whole half skeins), and it cost about $50AUD from cucumberpatch.
