Hey CailynDragon!  Wonderful work!  They are Beeyooteefull!  I started a rockin' vest (designed by Kaffe Fassett) YEARS ago that required (of course) immense color work.  I think I got through about 3 inches before I slumped unconscious to the floor from brain and finger fatigue.  Do you (or does anyone else reading this) have any good resources (books, CDs, etc) on color work that you could recommend so I could get back up to speed?  Many thanks!

I'm glad you like them!  Cheesy Cheesy

I think color work takes a special kind of crazy.  I'm strangely addicted to it now, though.  Once I started doing the whole 2-handed thing it got easier, because I wasn't constantly untangling the yarn (I literally threw my needles across the room a few times.)

I looked at a few blogs (mainly Knitting In Color)and used this pdf from KnitPicks: Color Stranding.  There's also some good stuff on Knitty, I think.

Really pretty! Did you base the pattern off of anything like Eunny Jang's Endpaper Mitts?

Thanks!  I used the Endpaper Mitt thumb increases as a basis; I wasn't sure how many stitches/how often to increase.  I also used her method of increasing, using yarn overs instead of M1s: Tips, Tricks, and Treats (down near the bottom.)  So much easier!!

Those are beautiful!  The colors all blend together so well  Cheesy  I adore them!

Colorwork is the main big knitting thing left that still scares me, but the thought of being able to make awesome stuff like this is helping me start to get over that fear!

Oh, these are incredible. Amazing. The black in the center is a happy accident indeed.

Awesome, Excel will save in a PDF!  I've spent a while tidying things up and writing things down; all it needs now is my proof-reader tomorrow and then I'll post the pattern!

These are awesome! Any chance of a pattern, or at least the charts? I'd love to make myself a pair, but as mittens.

Mistake?  No... it's an Unexpected Design Element.  I put it there on purpose.  *ahem*
