we're not allowed to have pens or markers for security reasons

but you can have crochet hooks!?!?!?  That is interesting!  I am so excited about this swap!

By security reasons I mean because we can use them to write down peoples credit card information etc.

Mind you,  I've learned that crochet hooks are pretty widely accepted. I have a tendency to carry a project in my purse at all times and I've gotton quite a few strange looks from bouncers at clubs and bars when they pull out a mess of yarn. The bouncer at Heat actually said that my crochet was fine "as long as it wasn't those pointy ones (knitting needles)"

I've made a ton of those slippers myself!  I'm excited to start on a pair.  It's a good thing for me to work on at work--I can be sneaky!  lol

It's so funny because I make them for everyone else, but I've never made a pair for myself!  lol

I can start pairing and sending out partners tomorrow night.  I know that it probably won't take anyone 4 weeks to make their package, but I figured that it was a good amount of time for everyone to get their stuff together.  I'll send out some PMs tomorrow night and the rest on Saturday night after I get home from running.  Oh, and I guess I shouldn't forget to answer my own questions so that I can have a partner.  lol  Tomorrow night will probably be later--after 9 PM MST--my husband and I get to go have dinner as adults because our son will be at some "guys night out" at church.  Wooohoo!  So exciting to have dinner alone!

I am all good with waiting til Saturday night.  Not able to look at the computer from sundown tomorrow til sundown Saturday night anyway, that way I will not have to sit there thinking that I am missing something!

Okay...I've got everyone partnered up who is signed up through right now.  I sent the info to everyone--if something doesn't look right, please PM me.   

Just a reminder:  There are a lot of newbies here, so please remember:  Communicate with your partner when you receive your info, when you send, and when you receive.  Also--very important--you must PM me with a delivery confirmation number when you send and you MUST PM me when you receive so that I can give your partner feedback.  I think I forgot to put the info about the delivery confirmation number in the first post.  UGH!  If you're mailing within the US, you must have a DC#.  If you are sending outside of the US, please keep your reciept as proof of your sending.  Please hang onto it until your partner has received!
