I just started spinning with a drop spindle, and am so excited that I just had to share! The colors are much brighter IRL, but I can't seem to find my digital camera. I've been very ill this past week and a half, so it has been nice to have something so low impact to keep me busy when my fever has been down. I only made 66 yards because that was all my spindle would hold. I'm currently spinning more that I plan to attach. Since I started experimenting more towards the end, adding angelina to the mix and some bits of metallic and neon embroidery floss, I plan on self plying so that it has glitz and fun stuff all through it. It is mostly merino wool with some bamboo. Anyhow, here's the crappy picture:

I love the colors!  It reminds me of bamboo.  I have been thinking about learning to spin recently, and this may be just the inspiration I need to start.  Sorry about you being sick , though. Embarrassed  I hope you get better!  Grin

It looks very nice! Spinning really is a good past time when you aren't feeling so well, takes your mind off things... Smiley
