i've been on more a sewing kick lately but i have managed to whip up a few sweet little creations.  i love little knit toys that i can hide around my apartment.  they just make me smile Smiley

the lemon is part of a fruit bowl that i hope to finish sometime...we'll see though :-P

this birdy is perched in my bathroom.  it actually matches my painted wall in there.  so cute.

and finally, my roommate brought me back some noro 182 from newfoundland this summer.  i've been trying to figure out what to make with it for a while and finally tried a simple lace scarf pattern.  i made it about half the width and just knit till i ran out.  i love the colors so much.  i tend to wear a lot of black clothing so it's a fun pop of color.

and just for fun, here's a pic of the boy and i on halloween.  we were beatniks.  again, i love the punch of color Smiley

love to hear what yall think!

They're all so sweet, the birdie, the lemon, your man, and you and your scarf! But the lemon is the greatest, is it so perfect.
I also love Noro, I have 3 skeins of Silk Garden in the awesomest colourway, but I am scared to use them because a stockinette scarf will get curly at the sides, and something else doesn't  really show the colourway properly. But maybe tour lace has won me over.

i really like the lace since i live in texas and a wool scarf isn't really that necessary, so the holes in the lace keep my neck form getting too warm.  i haven't blocked it yet either so i imagine it'll look even better once i do Smiley

and thanks so much!

Those are all so cute! I'm going to make one of the little birds for my friend's birthday... she'll love it.
