I might be able to give someone a lift if you aren't a ax murder and it's not too far out of the way.  Grin  Of course I've already told Sera unravled I'd give her a lift to our next meet up and she is VERY out of the way.  Wink

Sunday afternoons work well for me. I don't have anything going on and neither does my husband usually (we only have one working car right now).

If we're still thinking the Saint Paul area, would anyone be interested in a field trip to Borealis Yarns in Saint Paul, over on the corner of Hamline and Thomas? I've been meaning to check it out, but I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to buying yarn, so I would love it if some others came along who have an idea of what they're doing. Smiley

I've been to Borealis, but I am yarn-illiterate! I'm sure the ladies in there can help!

Should we get together in May? Any suggested dates?

How did I miss this thread? Geez, me!  Roll Eyes

I'd be up for a Sunday in May, but it'd have to be pretty early on. Anything before the 20th, really. The 4th or 18th would be best. (11th is in the middle of finals, and the 24th is the day after my wedding, so not those, haha!) If we do go to Borealis, that's my LYS of choice generally, and while I'm no expert, I know a thing or two about their yarns so I could potentially help. Smiley

If we have a picnic, I know a GREAT little park near both Ginkgo and Borealis. It's down Hewitt Ave and Fairview, called Newell Park.

The 4th or the 18th would work for me. The 11th is Mother's Day, so that probably won't work for a lot of people.  Smiley

Hey PinFish! I'm hosting Naga in the Little Visitor Swap! I'll be sure to bring him with if we do a meet up. I'm sure he'd love to see you.  Cheesy

woops, scratch that. spaced out on the Mom's day thing, so the 11th probably isn't hot for me.

If the 4th is in the afternoon I could make it, just will be a bit tuckered after finishing a 30hr shift.  But I'm not a good napper, so I might as well craft!
