I would have loved to be there but sadly JadedJenn had eye problems and couldn't drive.  But hopefully there will be a next time.

I was really bummed that Sera unravled and I couldn't make it.  Cry  I hope we can plan something again soon. I'd really love to meet some new crafty friends.  Grin

I was going to come, too, but our landlord ended up showing our apartment this morning, so we had to sweep and mop and... clean up the craft room. (horror of horrors!) Next time for sure!

Batgirl and Sew-Rabbity-

I enjoyed meeting you too.  I find it a little hard to believe we chatted as long as we did!  Here's the link for the henna patterns I mentioned: henna patterns

Ooh, thanks Hollydaze!

Should we try for a date next month? Maybe more people will be able to come out. I think the time and location was excellent if it works for other folks, the coffee shop was very friendly and accommodating. It's also close to Como Park so in the unlikely event of nice weather we could easily turn it into a crafty picnic!  Are Sunday afternoons generally good? (A nice relaxing fun time on Sunday helps ward off the "Scary Sundays"  Cheesy). In the long run I think it would be cool to turn this into a sort of casual, open, but regular thing if there's enough interest. Sort of a multi-craft Stitch & Bitch if you will.  Wink

The location for me was bad news.  I wasn't there because Metro Transit told me they don't have any buses going anywhere near there on Sundays.

Hi peps-
Sunday was fun, thanks Hollydaze and Bat-Girl!  Hollydaze- I bookmarked that henna site, sweet!

I love the idea of a potential picnic conversion!
Hmm, places on a bus route...  Ginko's is on Snelling / Minnehaha - tons of buses, not so many good picnic spots though.
Nokomis Beach Coffee shop might work - just off Lake Nokomis (for picnicking) and I believe on a bus route (the 22 I think).  I haven't been there in a while, I hope it's still in business.  I don't think it's as big as Ginkos or The Coffee Grounds
Diamonds is a huge coffee shop, lots of room. It's on Central Ave just north of downtown, so there are several buses. No parks though.
