i love it!  i, too, will be making one of these in the near future as a cover for my blue and red mat...didn't realize those were so popular.
come to think of it, if the blue and red ones that no one seems to like are that popular, just think of what you could do with something like this!

some of the vinyl nap mats fold up, they have 3 or 4 sections and when you put the cover on you can make it fold up so that the top part the child lays on goes inside.  I've seen similar ones on the internet.  I've been looking around trying to get ideas for a while now, just been too lazy to give it a try lol

There are so many ways to make these things and they all do the same purpose and are oh so adorable!! Cheesy

This is too cute...I love the idea and I love the fabric.  Great Job!!!  Can't wait to see how you made it.  My little guy goes to preschool next year and I hope they have rest time just so I can make one of these!!!

I love the fabric you chose.  This is really pretty.  I have a soon-to-be 3 yr that is about to start daycare and her own personal mat would be so neat. Thanks for the post and I would like a tutorial as well, please.

I love it! The doty soft, the fabric, the handle-too cool!
You could totally make a killing selling those. Whip up a bunch and sell them through your local preschools!

Mine starts kindergarten next year, and this is much nicer than some stupid beach towel.

Of course, if I make it, the school won't let me use it Roll Eyes (they specifically banned the plastic mats for some reason)

OMG! That is SO cute! I absolutely love it! That fabric is adorable, and it's really smart how you made it to roll up and easy to carry! I bet she'll love it!
