Thanks so much! I will definitely come up with a tute and post it since there's interest Smiley I didn't really use a pattern because I didn't like any I could find but I'll show how I did it in the tute (hopefully up today).

I've been wanting to make one of these for my daughter.  Apparently they still make them take naps in kindergarten!!!!!  ugh..  I was thinking about buying one of those cheap vinyl nap mats (the ones that are usually blue or red) and then making a cover with the pillow (case) and blanket stitched in like yours...  That way it's easier to wash.

Yours looks awesome though and I have a TON of that fabric, so I may just have to use that same fabric for the one I make Cheesy

A cheap vinyl mat would work great too. I used foam and made one length velcro, so the foam can be easily removed for washing the cover.

Oh thats awesome!!  I guess I would use the cheap vinyl mat just in case she spilled something on it, which happens every freakin day LOL   Can't wait till you post a tutorial!!!  It will make things much easier for me Cheesy

LoopdyLoop...
Wow! I think my little nephew (okay, great-nephew) needs one of these in Thomas fabric right away!

Thank you for agreeing to make a tute...I'd love to see it if you do.

If I used one of those cheap Kindermats I think it would withstand some spills (or worse) but would it roll as sweetly? Hmmm...anyone have any ideas?

you could cover the foam with one of those sheets for cribs before the fabu fabric. Most of the platic mats fold up dont they?So they wouldnt work.
