So I was debating buying my pug yet another poorly made, store bought bed, and I figured I could make it myself.  (I guess it's not really recon, but pretty close as most of the materials were saved from the trash.)

I happen to have a closet full of old pillows.  So I dug out two old feather pillows and wrapped them in leftover homespun batting from a quilt, and made a giant slip cover.  Since it was for the dog I just ran a straight stitch to close it up.

The fabric was something I had picked up on the $1 table at Walmart years ago.  I was in love with it and have been slowly whittling away at the 10 yards I bought.

Lulu loves it and will try to pull it all over the house!

Very nice job.  It looks quite comfy and cozy.  Lulu is a cutie by the way...as if you didn't know. Wink

We definitely think she's cute, but quite the handful.  We even started a blogspot for her.

It looks like you have quite the cute little one as well!  Smiley
