This was made using acrylic paint, a rusting agent, and an old photo edged in metal.

The whole thing (true colors)

Best close up of picture I could get

Ripped effect

The text says "Maybe it was I that pulled the trigger.  Maybe we just jolted it off between us.  Anyhow, he got both barrels in the face."

I found the picture at websters flea market here in Florida, The background was gessoed, I slapped it on extra thick to make it textured, then used a rusting agent.  The quote is actually from a Sherlock Holmes book.  Thanks for all the wonderful comments guys!
