Here are some dotee dolls that I made for the winter themed dotee doll swap on swapbot.  They were so much fun to make and so quick that I joined two more dotee swaps! Grin

Those are cute but I am not sure what a dotee is.  Do you have background info on them?  Are they like goddess dolls?

Also, I was on swap bot for awhile, but they have SUCH a problem with flakers.  I won't swap there anymore.  I hope you have better luck than me!

Thanks!  I am not really sure where the term "dotee" comes from, but this was the tutorial linked in the swap info. and I think the person who wrote the tutorial's name is Dot, so I think that might be the origin of the name http://dotslifeandart.blogspot.com/search/label/tutorial.

So far, I have only had one swap item not arrive, but it is supposed to be on its way.  Touch wood!  If you decide you want to make dotees let me know and maybe we could swap! Cheesy

Cute Dotees hun. I really love the touch of green you added.

Yes the lady that started the craze is named Dot hence Dotee Dolls.

I love making them. I was also in the Winter Dotee swap at swapbot (and yes flakers ARE a big problem there but they have put some recent things in effect to help cut down on them so I am keeping my fingers crossed.)

Are you in the So Ugly-Its Cute Dotee swap there? If not you should sign up....the hostess is REALLY great LOL (okay so that is a shameless plug but the swap is going to be FUN!)
