After starting a couple of projects I might have been a little too ambitious for (zippers are the devil) I decided to take a step back and do something super simple. So Voila! Boxers for the bf. Horray for cheap clearance fabric!

I know, I know, half of it is upside down.  But my mom got upset and demanded to know how I got the lines straight. Hell if I know...

Close up of the applique made out of felt. (Felt is fun to sew woo!) I just got the design from my Tokidoki purse, added a little embroidery and I think he turned out quite cute.

These are really cute, what a lucky boyfriend! (I love clearance fabric too, lol).
How did you do the elastic? I think elastic bands are the devil lol

I just encased the elastic into the fabric at the top and wove it through. I could have made it more straight but by that time I was just anxious to finish so meh...

They are cute!  Good job with the sewing, they look good.  It's wierd, my DH just asked me for some new boxers and he usually goes for the bleh plain fabric... I'll have to throw in a few pair like this Smiley

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

I love 'em! The fabric is great and I especially like your applique. I haven't ventured into the world of applique yet but you've given me inspiration.

Ahh shark pants! I love them!

This is a good boyfriend-present, I'll have to do something like this for my darlin.

Aw, those are adorable!  The shark is absolutely precious, and I love the safari fabric from the monkey boxers.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.
