Make Me A Journal Swap?

I'm addicted to journals and am always hoping my swap partners will send them to me in other types of swaps. Let's just get down to it and have a Make Me A Journal Swap!

The idea would be to craft a journal or decorate a plain, store-bought one based on your partner's interests/preferences. I think it would be good to include some sort of writing untensil and maybe a bookmark, too.

Partners could make the paper themselves or buy it, they could do numerous crafty things to the outside. People could even make little totes, stamps, pen-toppers, etc. to complement the other items.

Are there any other crafters out there as crazy as I am for a book with BLANK PAGES?!

ooh I love blank books! they have so much potential to become anything in the world. I would be in... I'm also considering the Beautiful Use swap, but I think I'd prefer this!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes a good blank book! Assuming there's enough interest, I'll start some sign-ups after the coffee/tea/cocoa swap is over (or at least after I send), so mid-Februaryish or earlier.

Just a quick FYI: I really want to organize and participate in this swap, but some life factors (pregnant?) might persuade me to totally pull off of Craftster for an extended time period to craft for myself and my family exclusively....don't know yet.

Really glad I'm seeing interest in this swap and it's cool that it's not the usual group of people I see in lots of swaps around C-ster.
