Had to get rid of the beige, but the fridge was perfectly good so...
Decoupaged it with MAD magazine ad spoofs and coated with polyurethane. The two black areas i painted with chalk paint; the top is for adult notes (ie the grocery list, etc) and the bottom is for kids to draw on.

That is a great idea! I love that you have an area for the kits to draw on too!

I love this! I have an old fridge in the basement we are using to store beer and it is very rusty and ugly. I think I might try this to spruce it up!

That's a great idea for brightening up a dull colour appliance.  You could have decoupaged take out menu's onto it as well so that they never got mislaid  Grin and put a pocket on the side for coupons.  Just an idea.  But I like what you have done so well done you.

Awesome! You just used a regular decoupage medium? Did you seal the whole thing with something afterward?

thanks, yes i used acrylic matte medium under & over the pics & then 3 coats of water-based polyurethane. one thing that is important is to make sure & get the medium over everything. the few places i missed so that the paper was still exposed got a little wrinkly from the moisture in the polyurethane
