A while back, I saw Hanabi's post for a sheep bookmark and printed it for my inspiration basket. (Good thing, too, since the pictures are no longer on her post or I'd link it here)

Finally got around to doing something with it...

I have a crafty friend who loves Corgis, sheep, and monkeys...her birthday is tomorrow, so I whipped this up last night...

I am already thinking about other kinds to make. It's such fun and so easy, plus it's very practical, too!

How adorable!  I definitely need to learn the stitching for using felt.  You all make such wonderful creations!

Thanks, y'all!  It was fun, and I hope she likes it!

MonkeyThumb, I've never done a swap, but I'd love to!

michelleames, it's called the blanket stitch (or I was taught it was a briar stitch). Here's a link to learn how. I use it (in a more slap-dash manner because the stitches won't show) to hem skirts and pants so the entire hem doesn't come out. Felt is so cheap...you should try it!

This is awesome!  What a GREAT idea!  I'm always amaze by the things people come up with!

There is a great swap on right now where you invite your own swap partner to participate.  Monkeythumb and graced -- you should give it a go!  It's called "The snowflake shuffle swap."  Check it out!

I LOVE this one! If I would see this somewhere in a shop and I could afford it I would buy it.  Grin

Flowers and Lemons, if you can you sew at all you can make your own! If youcan, you should try to make your own!  If you do, post a picture! Good luck!

Thanks for posting the link to the blanket stitch.  I'm going to try my hand at it this week.

You're the best!
