Augh, VDay is so stressful. I miss being single because of that.
Right now, I'm worried that (unlike some other ladies here) I'm not giving my boy enough. Right now, his gift consists of:
~A little book of things that I love about him, plus some kidcartoon wisdom (he hasn't seen most kid's movies, like The Fox and the Hound, or Land Before Time, or Dumbo, etc.)
~Heart shaped homemade peppermint patties and some other (hopefully minimally unhealthy) candies--he's been trying to lose weight lately, and I don't want to sabotage his goals!
~A CD with songs that remind me of him--not necessarily in a sappy way
Background info: We've been officially dating for eleven months (a full year on Feb. 9th), and we met during a high school speech tournament 2.5 years ago. He's 20 years old, 6'5" (and he might be growing again!), wears glasses, likes indie rock music, loves food (but hates consuming calories
), he's incredibly talented and sweet (he recorded a mixed tape for my birthday last year--played all of the instruments and wrote the songs himself, as well as mixing and layering the sounds) and my parents like him, and his mom loves me. I don't know about his dad...
Should I give him more? Less? Exactly what I have? Please don't tell me to follow my heart! It's just as confused as my brain.
