RadioactvUnicorn - Do you wet block? I was so disappointed with the moose hat's bunchyness after knitting but having it wet and left it to dry over an up turned flower pot or vase did wonders.

Well, the first thing I made using fair-isle, I felted (that pretty much took care of it!) and the second thing isn't done yet... I'll let you know! Thanks for the tip!

did you make up the chart for the moose yourself?

I am SO coveting all these horned-animal hats people are making.  I guess I know what I'm doing next month!  I've always had a soft spot for ungulates. (sorry, nerd!)



The Ring of Fire hat is gorgeous.  It's such a shame it's too small.  If I was you, I'd be SUPER proud of that hat as a first-ever stranded project, it's FANTASTIC!

I wish I had made a chart up myself but I actually stole it from here
