YAY FOR MY FIRST TOPIC!

My husband and I bought a cheap fixer upper on a great piece of land with the intention to live in said house until we can afford to knock it down - many year from now. We've been in it about two years and have made great strides in making the house more useable. After so long, we finally tackled the guest bath (it's important to know that I have been adamant about having 2 baths. The only other bath it the master, which means people have to walk through my bedroom to pee).

First, the befores! To begin with, and you will see it, the bathroom was migraine yellow! It was a horrible color to wake up to (most of the house was in colors similar to this one) Secondly, after some poking around it turned out the floor was basically rotten through so we had to take it up and replace it, as well as some *minor* structural work.

My husband wishing we hadn't done anything to the bathroom:

Before bathroom from the doorway:

And now the afters!! Important to know that work in the local movie/tv industry and just graduated with a BA in Film editing (it makes sense).

View from the doorway now:

See the 'dripping blood' from the ceiling? Circles around the entire perimeter!!

Novelty sign:

The vanity I bought a year ago because I loved it so much:

Weird angle, but you can see our fun retro black and white vinyl:

Congrats on getting your bathroom done!  We just went through a remodel on our hallway bath - had to have the tub replaced, but thankfully the floor is concrete.  I know what a relief it is to have a room 'done!'

And the theme is just too cool!
