Whoa that stuff is amazing... what is it made out of?!?! I love glass art, but how do you make it without a glass blowing machine?

I got a little note in my mailbox yesterday afternoon that my package from Kiis is waiting for me at the post office!  I'm going to go pick it up this afternoon and post pics this evening!  The excitement is killing me.  It's going to be the longest day at work ever!!

PS: That day of the dead skull lamp is awesome!

Okay, guys, here are the promised pictures of what my partner sent me:



Ah! What's this? Could it be...or is it just a shipment of textbooks?



Why, it is! It was my package from Taraneh! She made me a pair of blue wristwarmers with a heart-and-crossbones design, a green cabled scarf, a purple neckwarmer, and a blue Katamari pouch. Here they are all wrapped up in the pretty ribbon they came in.



Here's a picture of the neckwarmer with the awesome multicolored earth-tone buttons.



Here's a picture of the wristwarmers (and my jewelry, haha).



Here's a picture of the neckwarmer on. At first, I didn't think I would wear it much since it felt a little weird, but then I realized that I had put it on upside down.  After I fixed that, it's been basically a staple of my wardrode since.



Here's the scarf and the neckwarmer together; it's a nice combination to have on when the wind hits you, as it has been hitting me up here in the Midwest.



Here's my attempt at capturing the detail of the pouch - I had to hold it up so I could get some decent light, but that resulted in a bit of a blurry picture.



Last but not least, here is a picture of the kawaii paper that Taraneh wrote me a little note on explaining the items. It's on my fridge right now.
