hi there,

this evening i tried to make my first clutch bag following a pattern from a book i bought some weeks ago. the seams are a little messed up but i'm happy with it after all..
perhaps i will add a flower pin for the front. suggestions are welcome!  Cheesy

Good job! It reminds me of one of those pencil-bag things lol! But very cute. I think a green flower would be a nice accent.  Wink

Ohhh thats totally cute! I would buy it if i saw it in a shop also!  Grin It would be a great bag to take out to some funky bar! I think a flower would look cute but it does still look good all by its self!

oh! i just bought that book too....i just spent the last hour cutting out the material for the same clutch you did...can you tell me about your experience making the clutch? what were the most difficult parts...and the instructions say to use batting...but i think that's not going to hold up sufficiently for a clutch so i plan to use both batting + interfacing.

did you just use batting and did you find that it gave the bag enough structure??

great fabric choice!
