The pic just doesn't do them justice.

The cast on/off edges are sewn together rather than having then at the fingers and wrists. I did that mostly because my cast on/off are a bit tight. Would love any comments.

Please excuse the posters, they have been up for 10 years and a looking a bit faded and tatty...I just never get round to taking them down, lol

The stitch pattern I used was this.

Row 1 and 3 knit
Row 2: K1, *yo,k2tog; rep from *to last st, end k1
Row 4: K1, *ssk, yo; rep from* to last st, end k1.

It was called Mesh Stitch and was in a old issue (last winter) of Knit 1. I'll find it up and post.
