Thanks for all the sweet comments! I didn't use a pattern, just sort of made it up as I went along. I found a few stitch patterns that I liked then worked it from the edge of one sleeve to the next, adding the under bust part on afterwards. I wasn't too sure on whether I should add the length on or just leave it as a short shrug, but I like it as is.

too clever! I'll have to try that at some point.

what stitch did you use?  I am loving this sweater and I usually don't like crochet for clothing! (aside from hats & scarves of course!)

I used this stitch pattern for the bottom part:
http://www.jessica-tromp.nl/crochet_stitches/crochet_stitches_haaksteken_04_bestanden/crochet%20stitches%20haaksteken%2047.GIF
The top half was made from the stitch in the second diagram:

The best thing about not using a pattern is that you get to use any stitch you like, and make it to fit you perfectly!

Looks great!  It fits you like it's made for you! (which it obviously was, so I don't know why I bothered saying that  Smiley ...I'm so awkward)

Thanks! That actually makes a lot of sense, and I take it as a complement, I mean if I had made it for me and it didn't even fit I wouldn't have done a very good job Wink And there's absolutely nothing wrong with being awkward (I hope, cause if there is something wrong with it I'm in big trouble, lol).
