I just wanted to show off some of my newest crafts.

I've been cutting/carving lino stamps for just over a year now.  I'm no master, but it's fun low impact crafting for me.

Generally I use my stamps on stationary or journals, but this time I decided to put paint to fabric.  I used Speedball screen printing ink/paint.

I think I may have come up with some pretty cute prints!  Let me know what you think!

With Teeth

Mannequins and Machines

Blue TV

Played Out Dots

So So Rad! I have been wanting to do just that, only with potato stamps! I especially like the teeth, it would make a great flirty dress, with bite!
keep up the good work!

Gosh, I love all of them. I keep hearing about lino stamps and the like, maybe I'll give them a try. Your results certainly make it look appealing.

Thanks everyone!  I really appreciate the kind words.

Doing all the stamping was a little hard on the back, but it was worth it.  I guess the carving stamps is the low impact part of the craft.

If anyone is looking for a tutorial, this is the one that I originally used.

Happy stamping!

I did up some more prints this weekend.  I just wanted to show them off a little.

I must say, it's kind of addictive!

Four Eyes

The Key

Robo Boogie

Paper Planes
inspired by M.I.A.

Hope you like!

They're all printed on the same colour of fabric.  However my photo taking skills are somewhat lacking and a little inconsistent.  Meh!

Yep!  Lino carving is pretty fun.  Plus, it nice that you can use the stamp over and over again.

To be honest I'm not exactly sure what lino is.  It feels a lot like those white art erasers.  All I know is that its fun, fun, FUN!

The link takes you to a tutorial on stamp making. Worth checking out for sure!

Great stuff, fun motifs! Love the glasses. Would look great sewn into a sassy sun dress. But that leads me to wonder...are the speedball inks washable? Sure would appreciate knowing. Thanks!

best,
Alex

They are indeed!  I used their silk screening inks meant for fabric, so once its set with heat you can wash them as many times as you'd like.  Good questions!
