they're all right, your picture is totally better than the magazine one, (better color choices too) also, rather than duplicate stitch, maybe just zigzag stitch the elastic around the top of the inside edge? just as secure and much less work.

Shocked  That is gorgeous! I love the colors, too!  They're soft and delicate looking...well, so is that pattern.  You look absolutely amazing, too!  Nice job!

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

I love personal swaps for small stuff (including Hershey Kisses!)! PM me for happy fun rockin' good times!

Your top looks grand! I agree that it looks like it came from a shop and not off of your needles.

I am impressed! The threading/lacing down the side really makes it pop!

Everyone already said gorgeous enough for me, the top and you in it!  Great job!

But, I had an idea for you, just take more of the ribbon you used to accent it and make two little skinny straps.  I think that would just be adorable and then you wouldn't have to worry about it falling down, and it would still look very bare and flirty, I think.
