How would I attach the papercut to fabric?  These things are really delicate and I'm worried about tearing them.

If you were to scan the papercut (assuming it's not too big), you could print it onto transfer paper, and iron on the design.

I love papercuts!  I have a book with some patterns. I don't have a scanner though, s o I'll take some pictures so you guys can see. There are nice ones with Chinese zodiac animals. You can use them to make stamps, or greeting cards. I also carve marble stamps (called "chops") and sometimes I use those simple zodiac papercut designs as my pattern.
