Hi, I don't have time to put together a full, tutorial at the moment, but yes, you have the right idea. to figure out how much clear vinyl is needed, just measure from the left side of the placemat around to the right side and allow a little extra just for when you attach and bend the vinyl to turn the corners. Then just punch out your holes and attach the eyelets to both the vinyl and the placemat  Grin  Good Luck!

Very cool, just went to Disney recently... Saw all sorts of things that could be other things... Weird how your brain works like that after a while.  Smiley

LOL my brain works like that all the time. Drives people crazy some times, but most of my shopping tends to be buying stuff that is one thing and turning it into something else  Grin

thanks  Grin it's a pretty easy project, punching the holes is the hardest part. It's killer on the hands, but it's worth it  Cool

no, they're not melted together at all. When I use the eyelet pliers to secure the eyelets in place, the metal bends over to secure itself on top of the vinyl. I have a few more of these bags planned, so I'll be sure to to take more pics for a mini tutorial and will take one to better show how it's secured.
