Um, so how does this work?

I made this round ripple for my son.  Took about three days total.

He wouldn't get off it so I could take a picture, but I think it shows the scale.

Closer shot of stitches and colors:

It's 46-ish inches across, from peak to valley.  Done in Baby Clouds Sky Blue, Snow, and a veriagated blue.  Brody loves it, and I'm pretty much done with my Baby Clouds stash... which means I need more!

It looks so soft! I'm also in awe of your super fast crocheting skills, that would definitely take me longer than 3 days. I'm not very good at sticking with larger projects.  Roll Eyes

Thanks!  It only took three days because I used super bulky yarn and a 11.75 mm hook; I have one I've been working on since his birthday (in June), and it's not even a third of the way done.

indigo_roses: I looove this yarn , it's soft to begin with, and after you wash it it gets super snuggly.  My son has been dragging this aroud all day.

That is so cute and it looks so soft. Make sure you go to the crochetalongs thread and post this in the 12 point round ripple thread for ppl to see there too okay? I was just looking at some Baby Clouds today at Wally World, can this yarn only be used with big hooks? I hope so I may just buy some too.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

wow! I'm impressed! someone actually gave me something like 6 skeins of that sort of yarn (all in different colors) and I tried doing something with it and I must say I hate the stuff. I seriously despise it.
