So this is the first corset i've ever made.  The pic doesn't show it, but it laces up in the back with white grossgrain ribbon.  I chose not to put in a busk, but for my next one i will definitely use one (already bought it).  on me, it brings my waist in to 24" which isn't a whole lot considering i have a 25.5" waist.  its all boned with steel spiral boning.  Its got a ton of hand sewing in it and i'm really quite proud of it.  my only complaint is that i didn't make it long enough at the hips.  and the skirt was some flocked taffeta that i had been pondering for 3 years and finally knew what i wanted to do with it.

thanks to cydney for modeling and zoe for photography

The outfit is quite lovely.  The corset looks like it took a lot of time and precision to make it turn out so well!  You MUST have your pal Zoe take a picture of the back of this corset to post.
