so, my li'l cutie wont wear a hat. which is terrrible, of course, seeing as how i live in canada [northern ontario, to boot] and it is freezing here. she likes scarves though, so after seeing all of the scoodies popping up around here, i decided to make my own (courtesy, of course, to vegbee and her awesome tutorial here.thanks!!!)
i had some leftover strawberry short cake prints from their stockings, and some fleece lying around and heres what they turned into....

and pics of the prints, just cause i love them!

theyre 'scrap' scoodies, because i had to kind of piece them together from what was left of the prints.. and because the fleece is cut from a HUGE pyjamma bag someone gave me like 4 years ago that i never really wore, but couldnt bear to see go to waste...

of course, the li'l (right on the top pics, left in the bottom one) one loves the idea of it, but will not wear it unless forced and/or bribed.. oh well, i had fun making them. Tongue big one loves hers though! shes been walking around wearing it all day.

thanks again for the tute, vegbee!

and thanks for looking!

i don't know what's cuter - okay, so the girls are...but the scoodies come in a close second!   Cheesy

Will swap for baby food jars (or other small jars with lids)

yay!  They are cute (all!)  Won't wear a toque?  Are you sure this kid is Canadian?  Maybe this is your reason to go spend winter in a tropical climate - for the kids, you know  Cheesy

lol! thats so funny that you say that.. when she fights me i always ask her 'what kind of canadian are you???!?!' and she laughs... [i don't really think she knows what 'Canadian' is yet...]

on a brighter note, she ASKED to wear the scoodie today! she wore it for a whole 2.5 hours.. and i didn't even have to bribe her. Tongue
