What M&P base do you prefer to work with?

I used clear glycerine base and a shae butter base and I'm not satisfied with either. They both smelled funney after many drops of FO and didn't lather well.  Angry

Please help me?

well, it matters what brand you use i think...if you are using something like *Life of the Party* its really low quality, and burns easily...

Really? Didn't know that! That's what I use. What's a good quality base?

Escuse my stupidity. I'm new to M&P.

not stupid!! inexperienced

everyone has there own opinion on M&P base, i personally feel that the higher quality base, and that includes its ingredients, the better product you will get in the end...

i personally use SFIC base, which i find to be excellent quality (but like all soaps, you have to ADD things to it to make it right for your skin, like if you have acne prone skin, or dry skin, or oily skin...its all a matter of tailoring it to a certain purpose)

you can find it online (i have links on my profile for the soap base, and the additives, found seperately)

you wanna do research, to find out what is gonna work well, and then experiment (thats the best way to learn)...

and im always here to answer questions, but i am better with exact questions than vague ones, cos there are so many answers...though i do TRY to help every time

SFIC is the only base I would use. I have tried everything else I could get my hands on and the SFIC, in my opinion, is THE best. Wink
