We got this old, beat-up student desk from my roommate's aunt and uncle when we moved into our new apartment.  We use it in our kitchen for storage and extra counter space, but it was looking a little rough, even with the new knobs we put on it.  Also, it was a little bland in our all-white kitchen - we love color!

We decided to paint it this BRIGHT yellow and green, and we totally love it now!

What do you think?

1000% improvement!  And the color combo makes it look like a pristine vintage find.  Awesome!

Inside me there's a skinny woman screaming to get out; but I can usually shut the bitch up with chocolate.

Best episode of 'Cops' ever made:
officer- "ma'am why do you have scissors in your pocket?"
drunk lady- "for arts, such as.... crafts?"

I think it looks great!  I also think you better throw a blanket over it if the aunt and uncle come over!  They are going to want it back!
Congrats
