I have a question, how do we keep from sending our partner a book he/she has already read without ruining a surprise?  I don't think I could find an extra 48 hours to list all the books I have read.... Huh

In my last book swap, I talked a lot with my partner, and you find out a lot by just talking about what books you've read. Some were for reference and some were snuck in to see if she'd read it. I mean we must've gone through fifty books or so saying "what did you think about this one, if you've read it? I thought this and that" and so on. I sent one of the books I asked her about that she hadn't read, which I chose in relation to what she said she liked and what other books she enjoyed.

Or if you're thinking of an author with more than one book ask if they've read or own anything by that author (or authors).

you could probably ask your partner if they have book a, book b, or book c, that way they wont know which one youre actually giving them, and if they already have the one you want to give, you can pick out another.

I like this! You guys are crafty Wink
I know that when I want to make something for someone but I'm not sure if they'd love it or not, I resort to the first idea XD XD

I've decided that the 19th is fair, and I don't really know what happened there communication-wise :S but hey, I figure the extra week can't possibly kill anyone <3

But after this post I honestly have to study french all night. Big test tomorrow and I can't conjugate all those silly verb tenses if my life depended on it... and it doesn't help that that's only *one* portion of the test.

If I find I know all my stuff, I'll get back on tonight and start updating, but most likely there'll be a HUGE update tomorrow night involving everyone that has signed up so far.
