Im definately in love with the purse too!
You cant really tell in the picture but there is a pocket on the front and a divided picket on the back in the middle section (hidden cause the fabric matches so well yay me)

I wanted to add a pocket to the inside, but I got a lil excited and forgot it, so Ill just have to make a matching makeup bag 

and I added a tag. Just cause

i really like this tote*  i know u used a cotton fabric*  what type of interfacing did u used and do i see corduroy as well? [color]

I used a medium weight Pellon iron on interfacing, I lined the cotton and then all of it when I got it sewn to the (yes) lovely brown corduroy.

I love corduroy! I hadn't planned on lining it but went with it anyway and I love that its so sturdy!

My mom had a big stash of this, and a lighter brown, I made another bag with faux orange leatherish type stuff I use as a diaper bag that is lined with the dark brown cord. I haven't posted that yet!

Did you use a pattern for theis purse, or a tutorial, or just made up yourself? LOVE IT! I looked for the fabric online and couldnt find it. *CRIES*
I ended up getting some pretty reddish Amy Butler fabric. Time for bed......GREAT JOB! Amy

I didnt have a pattern I went along the lines of the Jordy bag, they are super easy and you can make whatever size suits you. Its in the purses tutorial list.

I almost cried when I couldnt find it online. I guess Ill have to go get some off their bolt whenever I have the extra cash to spend.
