I made this dress for my good friend who will be having a little girl in May. I am helping her with her nesting. This is my first baby dress I have ever made... more to come.

Super cute.  Does it truly button or are they just ornamental?  What pattern is this?

Yes it does button, however it doesn't call for it in the pattern. I changed it a bit.
The pattern is McCall's M5304... I forgot to insert that. I altered the pattern a bit, because I didn't want to put any ties on it. Here is the pattern: http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M5304.htm?tab=infants_toddlers_children&page=1

Thank you all for your nice compliments. Smiley

I just love clothes for small people.  You did a great job.  The pattern has so many cute variations.

Cute dress! I really like that fabric, too.
