Pattern: Brainmonster by the awesome Cyn (adult size for cartoon-head kid)
http://www.cyn.ca/knit/patterns/brainmonster/

Yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash, red, 1 skein + Dalegarn Free Style Superwash wool (white), 1 skein (together enough for the hat, slippers, and mittens)

Needles: #6

This pattern rocks.  Worked perfectly!  Though would have turned out a bit too small if I'd been making it for me.

Still had yarn, still had time, so....

For this one, I just used my Grandma's slipper pattern (http://merp.wordpress.com/2007/02/24/grandma-slippers-i-take-up-the-torch-needle/ and added some teeth and a tongue.

More detail, more pics of both on my blog.

Too cool for words.
