Those are so cool! Ive always wanted to know how to work with resin. How did you get started?

i saw stuff here and decided to go buy some, mostly i think i'd seen bottlecaps filled with resin here... there's a craftster sticky about resin, i read parts of it and links from it. and here i am!

the resin filled in the holes, the funny thing with them for me is that you can put them face down in resin and they catch little bubble "eyes" in their eye sockets!
  it may be that these were made facing up, and the resin was poured in around the bead, so it filled up slowly and filled the hole, whereas if i placed the bead in resin it would probably hold air in the beads.
 i usually just shift them around a bit in the resin to make them release air bubbles, poke 'em around with a popsicle stick or whatever. the bubbles usually get dislodged, and then if i need to i move them away enough to put the bead or whatever back in place, 'cause sometimes they kinda get sucked right back where they were, if all that makes any sense. constant battles with bubbles!

they were bracelets i took apart, cast the resin, and put back together. it sux 'cause there were only 2, and i'm about to see if i can find any more. making 2 gave me ideas, but i need more parts!
