my friends birthday is Tuesday, and unfortunately I had no money to buy her a gift.
She and I really really love Pokemon.
So, after a  Pokemon brainstorm, I came up with the idea of poke ball cookies.
Which I though was brilliant.
So, with my moms sugar cookie recipe, marshmallows, lots of food coloring, and icing... I came up with these.
They're still drying but, I'm very excited and had to post!

edit:

This is the tin I decorated for my friends cookies:

Wow! Those cookies and the tin are really great.
They make me hungry.  Wink

Not a pokemon fan so I don't know what those are but you did a great job. You even inspired me. For christmas next year I'm picturing some sort of red icing with a black belt going across it for a sort of Santa's Belly cookie.

Those are great! Pokeballs have a definite pop art look to them.  Cheesy

They look yummy too.

Nicely done!   I agree with the sentiment that these are a waaaay better gift than some generic, storebought thingie.  Have you given them to her, yet?  I bet she completely freaks!

Oh, and my son is now INSISTING that we simply MUST make these.  He squealed when he saw the picture.  I have a sneaking suspicion I know what kind of treats he'll be taking for his 3rd grade Valentine's party next month.

I haven't given them to her yet; her birthday isn't until tuesday, but I had to make them this weekend otherwise I wouldn't have had the time. Although I am really excited to.  Smiley

Thats really great your son likes them!! (I am sure the other kids will too Wink)
