Sorry for the awful pictures, I got my mate Mike to take them and I don't think he knows how to work my camera.

Anyway, I always liked the bottom details of Lolita dresses, so I took it a little further and made reverse-applique show-through curtains on the bottom of this dress. I didn't know it would actually turn out like I had sketched, but it did, so hooray. Made of a nice sturdy burgundy corduroy  and fully lined with gathered sleeve straps and partial princess seams. The off-white underdress is attached. I may add a swag-like belt to it eventually.
