My boyfriend and I just broke up...and I have a craving for cookies, they seem so tempting, so I wondering if anyone could post up recipes for their favourite cookies, thanks  Smiley

awwwwwwwww Cry

I add double the called for amount of chocolate chips, just because when you're making break up cookies, buttloads of chocolate is a must.

   2 1/2 c  All-purpose flour
     1/2 ts Baking soda
     1/4 ts Salt
       1 c  Dark brown sugar
     1/2 c  Sugar
       1 c  Butter; salted; softened
       2 lg Eggs
       2 ts Vanilla extract
       2 c  Semisweet chocolate chips

      Preheat oven to 300~. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. In separate bowl,
   cream together the brown sugar, sugar, and butter. Add eggs and vanilla
   extract and blend until smooth. Combine the flour mixture and the
   sugar/butter mixture and mix. Add chocolate chips. Using a silver, not
   black, cookie sheet, scoop out the dough onto the cookie sheet using an ice
   cream scoop. Separate the mounds well. Put into a preheated 300~ oven and
   cook for 22-25 minutes. Do not overbake or raise temperature of oven. This
   will make soft, chewy cookies.

These aren't cookies, but a recipie my mum made for my sister and I growing up and its worth it  it is aptly titled:
PMS Cake

Ingredients:
Devils Food Chocolate Cake mix
Big box of cook-kind chocolate pudding (not instant)
Choc. chips

Make pudding according to directions. Stir in cake mix. Dump in a cake pan (greased)
Sprinkle with chocolate chips. 350 degrees (fahr.) for 30 min.

It remedies ANY problem!
I'm really sorry you broke up! I hope this helps you, sweetie. Its SO his loss.

BIG fan of Thunder cookie things (super-cookies at local healthfood store) (oatmeal, peanut butter, chocolate chips, m&ms, coconut, whatever you like in cookies)

Seeing as I can't currently find my own version, this is very similar... http://southernfood.about.com/od/oatmealcookies/r/bl30507h.htm
INGREDIENTS:
    * 1 cup butter or margarine
    * 1/2 cup peanut butter
    * 1 cup granulated sugar
    * 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
    * 1 egg
    * 1/3 cup pancake syrup
    * 1 teaspoon vanilla
    * 1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour, sift before measuring
    * 2 teaspoons baking powder
    * dash of salt
    * 1 1/2 cups rolled oats, old-fashioned or quick-cooking
    * 1 cup flaked coconut

PREPARATION:
Cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars; beat in egg, syrup, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; beat into creamed mixture until blended; stir in oats and coconut.

Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen oatmeal coconut cookies
