I made this quite some time ago and found it tonight while looking for my Pippi Longstocking movie (couldn't find her, though). My sewing is a little off because I used my mom's fancy pants sewing machine. The image is printed on the fabric.

Cute! How did you print the image onto fabric?

I used some stuff that my mom had- its pretty cheap to buy at a fabric store- I forget what its called though.
But basically its fabric backed with paper. You can do the same sort of thing by getting a piece of (paper sized) plain fabric and a piece of wax or freezer paper the same size- iron them on a low heat setting until they're stuck together and run through the printer. Then just peel them apart.
Hope that makes sense!
